Officers were called around 11 a.m. to the 3700 block of Branch Avenue in Hillcrest Heights near the Iverson shopping plaza to investigate a reported shooting that left two people with injuries outside.

According to investigators, a man was taken to the hospital in critical condition, while a woman was listed in stable condition on Thursday afternoon after the shooting.

No information about a possible motive or suspect has been released as the investigation into the shooting continues.
